Emergency Department Bathroom Upgrades

NewYork-Presbyterian Westchester Hospital engaged Batska for a comprehensive upgrade of public and inpatient restrooms to enhance the experience for patients, visitors, and staff. The project included renovation of the male and female visitor restrooms in the Emergency Department, supported by the placement of a temporary restroom trailer in the ER plaza to maintain continuous public access. Patient bathrooms on the third floor were also upgraded to improve functionality, accessibility, and overall design. Construction was carefully phased and closely coordinated with Emergency Department staff to minimize disruption to daily operations. Strict infection control and life safety protocols were implemented throughout the work. The completed upgrades delivered modern, hygienic, and fully compliant restroom facilities that elevate comfort, safety, and user experience across the hospital.
