Women’s Center Fit Out

This project encompassed the full-scale renovation and restoration of the third floor of the building, totaling 18,000 square feet. The scope included a complete interior overhaul to create a modern medical practice for Valley Health System in Paramus, transforming the space into a comprehensive care environment designed for both patient experience and clinical efficiency. The renovated suite features 34 exam rooms, 10 consultation rooms, and 10 physician offices, along with a dedicated practice manager’s office. Patient-facing spaces include a welcoming reception area, check-in/check-out stations, an ultrasound room, and a phlebotomy station, all designed to streamline access and improve the overall patient journey. To support providers and staff, the suite incorporates a well-equipped workroom, multiple medical assistant (MA) stations, and a comfortable staff lounge that encourages collaboration and respite. Critical infrastructure and operational areas were also addressed, including an IT room, mechanical rooms, janitor’s closet, and dedicated clean, soiled, and supply storage rooms to ensure smooth day-to-day functionality. Delivered within an occupied facility, the project required careful phasing, detailed coordination, and strict adherence to infection control standards to avoid disruption to ongoing operations. The completed medical suite provides Valley Health System with a state-of-the-art environment that advances patient care, enhances provider efficiency, and supports the health system’s mission of delivering accessible, high-quality healthcare.
