Strategic Infrastructure Upgrades & Renovations

Batska Consulting managed the complicated and comprehensive upgrade of multiple critical electrical systems within NYU Langone Hospital. Replacement of Swithcboards A and B, as well as upgrading their associated Con Ed incoming services to meet the hospital's growing demands as it continues to strive to be the best for its patients. Included in these upgrades was the renovation of the existing Cogenenration Plant along with it's boilers and mechanical systems, recreating a highly efficient energy solution that simultaneously generates electricity and thermal energy for heating, and allowing the system to repurpose the heat captured form the generation plant for applicaations such as heating the building and producing hot water. Additionally, Batska managed and coordinated the installation of a new EM power system that delivers code compliant life safety, critical, and equipment branch services. We coordinated and managed the very detailed and complicated upgrade to the hospital's electrical emergency distribution systems that served critical patient areas and associated equipment, all while not affecting patient safety and their needs.
